Selly Oak - Op Skybridge end of deployment update.

Good afternoon, 

I hope this finds you well. 

Op Skybridge are now re-deploying from Selly Oak, having been deployed for some weeks to the area. The nature of the team's operation means that they move to different areas within Birmingham depending on demand. Although the time has now come to redeploy, I am pleased to share some results with you. 

Crime has significantly reduced throughout the deployment, which we have kept you updated with regularly. 

Although the team are now re-deploying to a different area, the dedicated neighbourhood officer remains in place to continue working for you, supported by the wider neighbourhood team. The most urgent of calls will continue to be responded to by officers from Birmingham response teams. 

As we move into autumn, which brings darker nights, please ensure you are keeping doors and windows locked, and remove all items from vehicles. As colder mornings also approach, please do not leave cars running - criminals only need the smallest of opportunity to steal from you. 

On a lighter note, the team would like to extend their personal thanks to the people of Selly Oak for their warm reception and continued support.
